- Enhances product knowledge through training, sales meetings, and personal development
- Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone calls, emails, and website forms
- Delivers detailed quotes including product information, pricing, shipping details, and payment terms promptly
- Processes orders and ensures follow-up throughout the purchasing process
- Utilizes business tools effectively, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft D365, and Microsoft CRM
- Maintains accurate customer database information in Microsoft CRM
- Assists in updating supplier information and product details
- Communicates strategic information about suppliers, customers, and competitors
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Less than 5% overnight travel required for training (Travel expenses covered by Bastian Solutions)
- Associate Degree in a Technology or Business Discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Material Handling knowledge is a plus
- 0-2 years' customer service experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills (listening, written, and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Responsive and quick to react positively
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrates drive to succeed and identify process improvements
- Confident and enthusiastic about company, products, and processes
- Attains product knowledge and process understanding within 6 months
- Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work under moderate supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft CRM/ERP within 6 months
