    Description

    AimPoint Pension is looking for Business Development Directors to sell retirement plans through intermediaries such as Financial Advisor, Record Keeper Wholesalers and CPA's.

    Specific Objectives

    • Manage advisor, record keeper wholesaler, and other key points of contact in a specific geographic region
    • Meet and exceed individual sales goal of selling new and transfer retirement plans by proactively developing above relationships in your assigned part of the region.

    Duties

    • Communicate with advisors to understand needs and create solutions.
    • Manage and develop assigned geographic territory
    • Build proposals and plan illustrations for prospective clients.
    • Assist/participate in point of sale meetings with advisors/wholesalers.
    • Lead advisors and prospective clients through the post-sales setup paperwork process.
    • Respond to a wide variety of inquiries, including plan design, industry trends, and legislative / regulatory requirements.
    • Communicate AimPoint Pensions business model, value propositions, products, processes, and fees.

    Experience / Credentials

    • Ideal candidate has experience selling retirement plans and interacting with financial advisors.
    • Knowledge of retirement plan services, including plan design and investments.
    • 3 or more years in retirement plan administration, service, or sales.
    • Experience working with open-architecture retirement platforms a plus.
    • Experience working with fee-based RIAs and retirement plan advisors.
    • Bachelor's Degree.
