    Description

    This Marysville-based company is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish), positive, high-energy candidate to join their fast-paced customer service team.

    They are a nationwide distributor of building supplies used in the construction industry. With an integrated distribution network spanning over 75 locations and a team of 700+ dedicated employees, they provide insulation, gutters, and related accessories to both retail and contractor customers.     As a Customer Service Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You'll be the face of their business, providing support to their valued customers and representing their distribution channel.

    Compensation: $21-$22/hr DOE

    Availability: 7 am-4:30 pm Monday- Friday, plus a night or a Saturday a month for inventory.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Answer phones and provide quality customer service over the phone and face to face in the office
    • Order entry support for customer base
    • Develop a strong understanding of products and their applications and assists with selling products
    • Process and review Vendor orders, requests and system generated acknowledgements
    • Support the order fulfillment process by working extensively with Outside Sales Representatives, Production personnel, Customer Service, Credit Department and Delivery Drivers
    • Admin Tasks: filing, UPS orders, helping maintain office clean, bank deposits, and cash draw reconciliation
    • Scheduling incoming and outgoing trucks
    • Maintaining pricing, running sales reports
    • Inventory checks
    • Reflect company's business values in all business interactions

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous relevant customer service, administrative and/or inside sales support experience
    • Knowledge or experience of the construction, manufacturing, retail, manual labor experience is a plus
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English (native or advanced fluency) in both oral and written communication.
    • MS Office proficiency, including Excel, required.
    • Customer-oriented and enjoy working/conversing with people.
    • Great attitude and high energy.
    • Can work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong time management skills with ability to multitask and manage a multi-line phone system
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
