    Randstad is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to spearhead team leadership and development within a pivotal organization in Hampton Roads.

    You will be responsible for overall site production operations; Accountable for all aspects of plant production performance while ensuring objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner.

    Using Lean principles, form teams and involve people to improve productivity, decrease lead times, reduce waste and attain customer quality requirements.

    $70,000 - $80,000 per year

    work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

    education:
    Bachelors

    Responsibilities

    • A hands-on leader that is a role model with high integrity, positive influence, and strong business acumen that embraces change, possesses a continuous improvement mindset, and has a passion for exceeding customer and company expectations
    • Understanding of Lean Management
    • Significant experience in implementation of Lean principals as they to manufacturing operations
    • Ability to structured problem-solving methodologies to determine root cause of problems and provide effective countermeasures
