Providesspeech-language pathology services by coordinating consultationsand diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspectedcommunication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; andinterpreting assessment data; planning and performingspeech-language pathology treatment intervention programs whenappropriate that restore function, prevent disability and helppatients reach maximum potential.
Responsible for the supervision of rehabilitation technicians,students, and observers. May be responsible for orientation andongoing guidance of assignedstaff.

Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
Masters Degree in Speech-LanguagePathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduateschool. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the AmericanSpeech-Language-Hearing Association(ASHA).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
None.
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensure by theGeorgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology. BLScertification through AHA or ARC.
