Performing noninvasive testing for evidence ofperipheral vascular (arterial and venous), renal, aorta/iliac andcarotid artery disease. Preparing preliminary findings. Able toprovide complex technical care with the use of ultrasoundtechnology for adolescent, adult, and geriatricpatients.

Qualifications:

MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:


Graduate of registryapproved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according toIntersocietal Accreditation Commission(IAC).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


None.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:


BasicCardiac Life Support (BLS) required.

Registered as one of thefollowing:

Vascular Technologist (RVT) through American Registry ofDiagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); Registered VascularSonographer (RVS) through the Cardiovascular CredentialInternational (CCI); Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography[RT(VS)]

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


Two years of experience in ahospital inpatient, outpatient/ ambulatory setting as a vascularsonographer preferred.
