Piedmont Eastside is a growing facilitywithin the Piedmont Healthcare system. We've been investing in ourradiology services, recently adding a second MRI Unit andinstalling a new nuclear medicine system. In Mammography, we areadding a 3D mammography unit to our Outpatient BreastCenter.

Here at Piedmont Eastside, all of ourMammography Techs work at our Outpatient Breast Center, which is onthe Piedmont Eastside campus.

Our Mammography Techs performspecialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis andtreatment of breast disease in patients. The MammographyTechnologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation ofmammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices asappropriate.

Our Outpatient Breast Center isopen Monday -Friday , and closed on holidays, and most of ourMammography Techs work 8-hourshifts.

Qualifications:

MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:


Graduate of an AMA approvedschool of Radiologic Technology.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


One (1) year minimum experience as aMammography Technologistpreferred.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:


Must beARRT (M) - Mammographyregistered.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


BLS certified.
