    Our client, a leading spoken word media company, is seeking a qualified candidate to join their team for an open role as a QA Engineer for their Global Marketing QA Team. This individual will be involved in the Global Marketing QA Team's initiatives within the experimentation program and will collaborate with marketers to deliver top-notch experiences for customers and enhance acquisition efforts.

    Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

    Assignment Duration: 9 months

    Salary: $85.00 per hour

    Hybrid Working Model: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote in Newark, NJ

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders and oversee A/B testing workflows in Jira to ensure the successful launch of tests, QA processes, and post-launch support.
    • Conduct comprehensive testing of A/B experiments worldwide to validate accurate audience targeting and ensure desired user experience.
    • Create, prioritize, and execute detailed test plans.
    • Work closely with QA teams and Product teams to guarantee proper setup of new features and seamless customer experiences.
    • Quickly adapt and propose enhancements to the QA Process
    • Maintain updated documentation for marketers on testing plans, guidelines, and best practices (wikis, process documents, playbooks)
    • Collaborate with Customer Care, Marketing, and Technology to resolve promotion-related issues promptly and address support requests and customer concerns efficiently.
    • Identify potential issues and risks for marketing stakeholders and leadership to ensure A/B tests align with best practices.
    • Track and report defects for resolution; collaborate with customer service and IT to handle escalations, bugs, and support requests.
    • Provide reports on QA process discoveries and escalated issues (types of issues, root causes, business impact, time to resolution, resolution steps)

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, UX testing, and executing multichannel campaigns
    • At least 3 years of experience in marketing or related technical roles supporting customer acquisition programs — particularly in e-commerce roles involving multichannel responsibilities (web, mobile app)
    • Background in a dynamic and collaborative work environment with teams spanning different time zones.
    • Experience in collaborating directly with business stakeholders and technology teams for requirements gathering.
    • Technically proficient with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
    • Proficiency in working with Jira or similar project/workflow management tools.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools.
    • Experience in Accessibility Testing
    • Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Target Business Practitioner
    • Experience in conversion optimization for subscription-based services.
    • Fundamental understanding of how JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS contribute to optimizing user experience.
