    Job Description

    We are seeking a Project Coordinator to become an integral part of our team BGD Companies is a custom furniture manufacturer providing full-service package to our mall, restaurant, millwork and hospitality clients including design, planning, management and manufacturing of our products. It is important to uphold our reputation of delivering great service and high-quality products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and respond to incoming customer requests
    • Generate quotes for custom orders and enter job orders
    • Follow up with clients regarding status, timeline and project details
    • Process material orders to our procurement team and track orders to ensure all goods arrive on time
    • Assist Project Managers in day-to-day tasks
    • Assist to improve operational practices in project management
    • Assist in developing better methods for tracking project processes and costs

    ​Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in operations or other related fields
    • Strong project management skills
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Strong leadership qualities
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage Accounting or equivalents
    • General understanding of custom manufacturing processes and general office functions
    • Understanding of and proficiency in social media software
