    Duties


    • You will provide the seamless integration of enterprise communication services, across various classifications, regardless of vendor.
    • You will perform technical network analysis to assist end users to successfully utilize products and capabilities needed to carry out communications functions.
    • You will assess trends and find solutions when deficiencies in equipment, networks, or circuit operations are suspected.
    • You will all forms of communications that are exchanged via a network to include other forms of communications

    Qualifications Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
    Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position
    Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled
    Qualifying experience at the next lower grade would be demonstrated by: (1) Experience with development, configuration, support, instillation, and maintenance of Wide Area Networks (WANs)
    (2) Skill in independently analyzing and troubleshooting common problems, such as monitored systems performance
    (3) Ability to collect information from a variety of sources and apply analytical techniques in reviewing data and investigating specific technology problems
    (4) Skill in supporting systems involving a wide variety of different platforms, operating systems, applications, and desktop configurations
    (5) Ability to identify and write specifications to meet IT security requirements at the application or network server
    (6) Ability to serve as a system or application security administrator, providing for various controls including software licensing, virus protection, user access, and audit control and monitoring
    This position is within the Work Category-Professional at Work Level-Full Performance, Series 2210 and Grade GG-12
