    Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an Senior IT Analyst, to join our growing team

    Role Summary:

    The Sr. IT Analyst, Operational Technology role is responsible for the Vendor & Application management of a portfolio of applications within the OT area. This includes system and application patching, operations support, remote access control, disaster recovery, asset tracking, and user training. The role includes project planning and execution for technology and applications within the OT portfolio.

    Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:

    • Project Implementation. Complete assigned tasks that assist with the implementation of various projects related to Buckeye's applications. Document end-user requirements related to the new applications.
    • System Maintenance. Lead the maintenance of various systems and technologies. Respond to reported application issues.
    • Application Administration. Lead system administrators in the setup of assigned applications and administering systems interfaces.
    • Internal Support. Lead the enhancement of the various IT systems with lifecycle management of assigned and dependent applications.
    • Documentation. Review and manage documentation for all supported applications and ensure documentation is current. Documentation may include IT PMO, Disaster Recovery, Interconnection, etc.
    • Testing. Review and Manage testing of multiple system upgrades before releasing them to the Buckeye Business and provide recommendations for application system upgrades and enhancements.
    • On-Call Support. Provide on-call support during non-business hours to Operations on an as-needed basis.
    • Customer Service. Provide exceptional customer service.
    • Process Improvements. Lead and/or contribute to identifying potential opportunities to increase efficiencies and/or improvements to existing processes. Lead identifying gaps in the current business model and propose processes that will help move the business forward.
    • People Management. If Direct Reports exist, oversee daily work functions of the team, and provide coaching.
    • And other duties as assigned.
    Position Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience required.
    • Knowledge of Emerson's DeltaV DCS and Automatic Tank Gauging Systems.
    • Experience with PLCs, programming, ladder logic, and all aspects of inputs and outputs of the system.
    • Experience with HMI programming and its interaction with PLC.
    • Experience designing and implementing Windows Server Operating Systems and related components including Active Directory, NTFS Setup and Security, User Administration, TCP/IP with DHCP, WINS and DNS required.
    • Understanding of Cisco Series routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators, wireless bridges and wireless access devices. TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IRDP, HSRP, and SNMP protocols. CAT 5e/6 and fiber optic network cabling.
    • Experience with Autocad, RSLogix, Controllogix, RSView, FactoryView.

    • Stakeholder Engagement. Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with the team members and stakeholders. Actively seek feedback from internal and external stakeholder groups; listens effectively. Proactively communicates to foster a productive and transparent relationship.
    • Use of Resources. Ability to lead work including people resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ability to deliver with resources provided or communicate in a timely manner when additional resources (time, people, money) are required to deliver on time. Develop schedules and task/people assignments.
    • Time Management & Organization. Can effectively present and when necessary, instruct others on how to structure projects according to Company standards. Ability to self-organize tasks to maximize productivity. Effectively organizes time and prioritizes activities that advance project goals and key deliverables.
    • Self-Development. Takes initiative to assess own development needs and seeks out constructive feedback. Implements plans to improve upon identified development needs. Proactively gains knowledge and seeks opportunities to further develop abilities.
    Essential Functions:
    • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.
    • This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
    • This position requires compliance with all personnel policies.
    Physical & Safety Requirements:
    • The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
    • This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
