- Source, screen, and recruit candidates to assess their qualifications for various logistics positions within the company.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs requirements and set up interviews.
- Submit for MVR's, background checks and verify qualifications for applicants.
- Manage applicants using company's applicant tracking system and keep accurate records of the complete recruiting process.
- Communicate with Director, Department Managers, and Terminal Managers regarding the status of all candidates, and inform of any areas of concerns related to any potential candidates.
- Successfully onboard all new hires and process their information within the HR and Payroll systems.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations related to driver qualifications, hours of service, and other requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to recruiting and DOT compliance activities.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance with DOT regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Assist with other logistics and administrative tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Recruiting experience preferred.
- Trucking or transportation experience a plus
- Strong Communication skills and be a great communicator. Bilingual is a plus.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize time with Candidates, Qualify and Identify Talent.
- Must be self-motivated and operate with a high sense of urgency while also effectively working well within a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize/organize and work well in an ambiguous environment with ever changing and competing demands. Must have strong organizational skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the recruiting process and onboarding of employees while working closely with the compliance team and be familiar with general DOT, FMCSA, and CSA rules and regulations to ensure the company is compliant and meets all federal, state, and local requirements.
This position is full-time, Mon- Fri and reports directly to the Director of Recruiting. The role requires to be onsite at our corporate HQ located in Dayton, NJ.
