- Proactively react to business trends, e.g. labor, expenses and revenue opportunities
- Manage budgets, forecasts, expenses, and supplies
- Supervision of all rafting guides, front office staff, and bus drivers.
- Approve all requisitions for supplies, equipment, and personnel
- Develop, approve, and adhere to labor projections tied to labor standards
- Support safety committee initiatives; meet or exceed annual OSHA frequency targets; execute monthly safety and environmental programs and inspections
- Proactively address employee concerns
- Uphold uniform standards
- Lead and advocate guest service
- Work directly with clients and vendors
- Develop and maintain strong positive interdepartmental relationships
- Challenge and develop departmental manager's and supervisor's management skills
- Adhere to ARAMARK policies and procedures
- Create, generate and review reports, i.e. rates, promotional offers, parts inventories and etc.
- Insure satisfactory quarterly and annual NPS inspections.
- Other duties assigned
- Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Very good problem resolution techniques.
- Solid financial skills and accountability.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Must be willing to work long hours, rotational shifts, weekends, holidays and have rotational days off occasionally based off client needs.
- P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is required.
- Ability to manage and maintain inventory/cost controls is required.
- Ability to deal effectively with customers and other company personnel. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, guests or employees.
- Very good knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures. Ability to interpret and apply safety rules, operating, maintenance and procedure manuals.
