Guided by a team of physicians and APPs, Indy Wound provides a comprehensive wound care approach.

    We are looking for a caring and experienced part-time or full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our skilled team. The ideal candidate should have a background in wound care, although it is not mandatory; we will provide on-the-job training as needed. As a crucial member of our wound care team, you will have a key role in evaluating, treating, and overseeing complex wounds while working closely with medical professionals.

    Responsibilities

    - Conduct thorough wound assessments and create personalized treatment plans based on best practices

    - Independently perform wound care procedures in diverse settings: inpatient, outpatient

    • debridement, I&D, wound culture, etc

    - Use advanced wound care techniques to enhance wound healing outcomes

    - Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques and prevention methods

    - Manage electronic health records efficiently

    - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient results

    - Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions

    - Demonstrate organization, flexibility, and teamwork in executing job duties

    Requirements

    - Valid Nurse Practitioner or PA-C license in Indiana

    - CS and DEA license in the state of practice

    - Familiarity with EHR systems

    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction

    - Willingness to travel within assigned area

    - Physical capability to deliver wound care in various settings
