Our client in Indianapolis, Indiana is in need of a board certified physician assistant experienced in cardiothoracic surgery to provide ongoing coverage at their hospital facility. This is a well established cardiothoracic surgery team located in North Indianapolis. Pay is $115/hr. Details below

Position: Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery
Position Type: Contract, 1099, Ongoing, Full Time, Locums
Contract Dates: September Ongoing (allow 90 days for credentialing)
Location: Hospital Facility in North Indianapolis
Schedule: Scheduled Hours Only, No Call
Pay: $115/hr
Coverage Details: evidence-based practice in treating acute and critically ill surgical patients; opportunity for procedures in ICU setting; EMR is EPIC; highly autonomous position; clinical rounding and bedside procedural skills such as central lines/chest tubes/arterial lines highly preferred; 5-8 patients/shift; inpatient settings

Requirements:

Must have Indiana medical license
ACLS Certification Required
Board Certification Required
2+ years experience as a physician assistant in cardiothoracic surgery OR relevant surgical specialty required
Must have ongoing full time availability
