The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed

Essential Functions:

Perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties and repair of buildings and grounds.
Report needs for major repairs as required by LSSI / CILA.
Follow all standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory and agency requirements.
Assist in implementation of preventative maintenance program.
Assist in resident apartment or room turnover preparations.
Document work orders thru software-based reporting system and complete other reporting functions as in compliance with LSSI and/or funding source requirements.
Willingness to guide and support DD staff in emergency situations, if available, either by phone or in person.
Perform other related tasks as necessary or assigned.

Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade or technical school training preferred.
Background check clearance required.
Three (3) to five (5) years maintenance experience preferred.
HUD, OSHA, REAC, and ECT or related training preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written.
Good organization and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
Access to reliable transportation required.
Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
