LSSI is hiring a full-time_ _Maintenance Technician.
Responsible for maintaining all facets of physical plant and grounds in accordance with health and safety requirements at designated facilities.

Essential Functions:
- Perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties and repair of buildings and grounds.
- Report needs for major repairs as required by LSSI / CILA.
- Follow all standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory and agency requirements.
- Assist in implementation of preventative maintenance program.
- Assist in resident apartment or room turnover preparations.
- Document work orders thru softwarebased reporting system and complete other reporting functions as in compliance with LSSI and/or funding source requirements.
- Willingness to guide and support DD staff in emergency situations, if available, either by phone or in person.
- Perform other related tasks as necessary or assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade or technical school training preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years maintenance experience preferred.
- HUD, OSHA, REAC, and ECT or related training preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written.
- Good organization and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
