Strategic Buyer (M/F/d) - Missions Syst Ref in Columbine Valley, CO

Your Responsibilities:


We are currently seeking a Strategic Buyer (M/F/d) for the commodity "Mission Systems & Weapons" in the lead function "Avionics & Mission systems" located in Donauwörth, AHD.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Managing relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks
  • Supporting the Buyer during contract negotiations
  • Contributing to the backing of our sales campaigns to secure future business
  • Assisting in updating the commodity sourcing policy

Personal Requirements:

  • Proactive, persistent, and logical approach to new challenges

Professional Training/Studies:

  • Master's or Diplom degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics

IT Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP

Languages:

  • Business fluency in English
  • Knowledge of German is a plus

Additional Knowledge:

  • Experience in the aeronautic industry is a plus
  • Engineering background is a plus
