Social Services Specialist for the Elderly (m/f/d)
unlimited part-time position with 20 hours per week.


The position is in the team of the Senior and Care Support Center in Lower Saxony in the district of Harburg.


Your tasks include:


  • General advice and information for elderly people, those in need of care, or those at risk of needing care, as well as their relatives and legal representatives, particularly on the following topics:
  • Possibilities for volunteer support
  • Support options for household and/or nursing care and alternative living arrangements
  • Service providers and providers in the nursing sector
  • Accessing financial assistance from various social service providers
  • Individual case advice and case management while adhering to the legal mandate of "outpatient before inpatient", especially
