- Directly oversee and support technicians.
- Assist Service Manager in training personnel.
- Carry out established policies and procedures.
- Perform quality assurance activities as directed through quality assurance inspections, random quality checks and training technicians in quality assurance.
- Assist Service Manager in resolving customer complaints and general customer relations.
- Assist Technicians with mechanical diagnosis and performance.
- Schedule, assign, and supervise work with the objective of maximizing the balance of quality, productivity, and profit.
- Supervise maintenance of tools and shop equipment.
- Maintain clean and safe shop
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Required to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations, at the shop division location.
- Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
- 5+ years Shop Foreman experience
- Master Certified preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
- Experience working in a heavy-duty truck dealership or independent shop environment is a requirement.

Summary:
The Shop Foreman is essential to the success of our service department. As a Shop Foreman with Optimum RV you will be responsible for dispatching orders to the appropriate technicians, making sure the work gets done efficiently and opening & communicating with the service advisors. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing the technicians' work.
