    Job Duties

    Support staff, students, families, and the community within established procedures. Maintain and process school records.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or its equivalent
    • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
    • Proficient in the use of computer and Internet-based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
    • Proficient in Google Suite

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous office experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
    • Experience working with children

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Act as the first point of contact for parents and staff
    • Carry out the operations within an assigned area of responsibility and serve as backup to other areas
    • Maintain files and updated records within an assigned area of responsibility
    • Prepare reports, notices, and correspondence
    • Assist with the coordination of events and meetings
    • Communicate with parents, students, and the community
    • Respond to, and troubleshoot common concerns and refer problems to the appropriate resource or administrator
    • May supervise students and/or administer student assessments, within the established protocol, under the direction of licensed staff
    • Required to maintain current First aid/CPR certification and implement medical protocols as needed
    • Keep confidential documents about school operations and students
    • Other duties as assigned

    Working Conditions

    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
    • Follow site and/or school protocol for reporting absences
    • Follow all school policies, work procedures
    • Follow all reasonable requests/instructions by the proper authority
    • Maintain the integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, and school operations
    • Work independently in the performance of routine duties
    • Make sound decisions
    • Participate in required meetings and training related to the position
    • Maintain required licenses/certifications and complete required training for the position
    • Utilize the school's electronic systems and applications related to the position
    • Dress professionally and appropriately for the assignment and work setting
    • Demonstrate professionalism when working and communicating verbally and nonverbally with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds
    • Cultivate and model a respectful working and learning environment
    • If an employee is bilingual, they may be required to interpret, translate documents, and/or communicate orally in the second language
    • Report to other work sites as needed when determined by the administrator

    Time Commitment

    • FTE for an 11 month calendar.

    Compensation Package

    • Pay range based on experience $19.19- $24.10 per hour worked
    • Offering full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance and paid long-term/short-term disability insurance, accrued sick time
    • Required participation in Oregon PERS.
