- Compile necessary loan documentation for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, packages, credit reports, and other application paperwork
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the company, arranging and conducting meetings to address any follow-up issues
- Offer administrative support by handling calls, scheduling appointments, and more
- Address customer and internal inquiries regarding transactions to ensure a seamless process and top-notch service
- Thoroughly review loan package documentation for errors, missing information, and income calculations, and escalate any issues to the loan originator
- Capable of multitasking and making compliant decisions as per regulations
- Coordinate with the Loan Processor and Closing Department to monitor loan status
- Assist with other tasks as required
- Familiarity with mortgage loan documents, origination programs, and underwriting guidelines
- Proficiency in standard software like Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Maintain professional etiquette and appearance
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Effective multitasking and decision-making under deadlines
- Adept at working independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of all escrow processes from start to finish
- Valid driver's license and clear background check
- Preferred experience in residential mortgage lending
