- Provides guidance and leadership to the production shift supervisors for a 24 hours /7 days operation
- Directs and oversees the manufacturing processes for a product line
- Ensures safety, quality, performance, and productivity goals are met within budgeted costs
- Coordinates staffing to meet customer requirements
- Ensures employee training, promotes a safe work environment, and maintains discipline
- Partners with maintenance department for service/repair of equipment
- Focuses on continual improvements and leads improvement activities
- Promotes and enforces plant floor organization and cleanliness among employees
- Provides communication between shop floor and management team
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Organization and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking expertise
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience coaching, training, and disciplining employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, blueprint reading and ISO standards
- Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related field with a master's degree preferred
- Five years of management/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certifications or licenses (e.g. PHR or Professional Engineer) are a plus
