    **Description:**

    The **Food service Director** is responsible for providing structure in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

    **Responsibilities for Food Service Director:**

    Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders

    Oversee department and all food functions

    Maintain ongoing communication with facility administration

    Knowledge of food policies and procedures

    Oversee dietary aides and all functions within department

    Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean & safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment & supplies are maintained

    Other duties assigned

    **Qualifications** **for Food Service Director:**

    Must have proof of Covid-19 vaccination ( Religious and/or Health Exemptions May be Available for Qualifying Employees)

    Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

    Must have cooking experience (Required)

    Banquet or catering experience (Preferred)
