Role Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Professional to join our team and help drive company sales across the United States.
As a sales executive, you will be responsible for generating new leads, executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships within the sports industry including but not limited to professional sports leagues and college sports.
This role requires strategic thinking, accuracy, innovation and strong negotiation skills, which are all critical to meeting goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Execute the sales strategy to achieve company targets and objectives
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate new leads
Build and maintain strong customer relationships with ability to establish regular meetings with stakeholders
Provide product presentations, demonstrations, and technical support to customers as needed
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial client engagement to post-sale support
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, presentations and other documentations as required
Preferred experience:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales as well as an established network of corporate contacts particularly in the sport and event industries.
Requirements:
5 or more years sales experience with proven portfolio and ability to drive sales process from plan to close
Strong attitude toward high quality, excellence in delivery and 'client-first' thinking (external & internal)
Strong communication skills (orally and written) to senior management members, BoD members and senior external partners
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
You are someone with a real 'Can Do' attitude, not afraid to roll up your sleeves, with an ability to work and deliver results under pressure
Strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a given budget
Advanced Google Slides/PowerPoint and presentation skills
Willingness to travel extensively at times
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
Located in the United States
