    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • The Directory Services Engineer is accountable for the ongoing administration of UOs Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems enterprise-wide, including directory and identity management solutions. Responsibilities cover the entire process from conceptualization to implementation of the Active Directory Security Enhancement (ADSE) project. This role resolves assigned cases and change requests, acts as an escalation point for support issues, and provides top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives, focusing on enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and policy configuration, among other core infrastructure technologies.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Offer expertise in Active Directory identity protection best practices, assist Senior Leadership in formulating and maintaining enterprise-level AD design policies, and serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting. Collaborate with the InfoSec team to deliver new capabilities and solutions focusing on Access Management for Active Directory and Windows Systems. Ensure software and OS are up-to-date and in compliance with standards.
    • Assess and enhance Active Directory integration and hardening with virtualization infrastructure, create detailed guides, and help with global deployment and management of Active Directory Services.
    • Successfully complete projects, meet milestones, and communicate issues effectively. Provide technical guidance in threat assessments for new enhancements, enhance existing infrastructure with automation, and adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years of IT experience with expertise in Security and Compliance, Active Directory management, application integration with Active Directory, and Microsoft Administration Platforms. A strong background in security concepts and technologies, as well as experience in network technologies and data security practices.

    * *Certifications:
    • MCSE/MCSA, Azure, CISSP, CISA or similar information security certifications.
