Summary


The Project Manager Specialist will have a strong background in project management within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry, with a focus on ensuring the successful development and launch of new products.


Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination:


  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and resources required for successful product development.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients and crossfunctional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory affairs.

Budget Management:


  • Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and costeffectiveness.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:


  • Identify potential risks and challenges in the product development process and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or quality standards.

Quality Assurance:


  • Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the product development life cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Communication:


  • Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Provide meeting minutes with updated action item log and project timeline.
  • Communicate project goals, timelines, and expectations to team members and senior management.

Resource Allocation:


  • Optimize allocating resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet project objectives efficiently.
  • Work with department heads to secure necessary resources and support for
- project teams.


Continuous Improvement:


  • Implement best practices in project management, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the Product Development team.

Minimum Qualifications:


Education:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, engineering) is a plus or equivalent work experience


Experience:


  • 3year previous experience in within the nutraceutical industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical product development.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • PMP certification.

_Work Environment_
The office is clean, orderly, adequately lighted, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate. Field conditions vary.

Exposed to various raw materials, including allergens (i.e. milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nut, peanuts, wheat, soy).


_Physical Demands_


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, talk, move about, hear, and speak.

It may be needed to work in restricted spaces and/or under different lighting and access conditions.
