Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Summary

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing maintenance, safety, and functionality of the facilities at Lief Labs.
Tasks include coordinating maintenance activities, managing facility projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach to facility management.

Responsibilities

Facilities Maintenance:
- Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Schedule and supervise external contractors and vendors for facility-related services.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address safety hazards.
Space Planning and Utilization:
- Assist in space planning activities, including office layouts and furniture installations.
- Coordinate moves, additions, and changes within the facility with minimal disruption.
- Optimize space utilization to support evolving business needs.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental requirements.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Facility Projects and Budget Management:
- Coordinate facility projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress.
- Manage relationships with facility-related vendors and service providers.
Additional Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3+ years in facilities or related field.
- Strong understanding of building systems and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
