    Job Description

    Job DescriptionJob Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a well-known business consulting services company in Norfolk, VA for a new Jr. HR Admin need. Under the supervision of senior HR staff, the Jr HR Admin will perform essential clerical tasks to support human resources activities. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in handling HR data and systems.     Responsibilities:
    • Manage HR individual data changes, including retroactive changes, corrections, rescinding transactions, and manual transactions.
    • Execute mass data updates related to organizational changes, pay adjustments, job transitions, contingent workers, and job requisitions.
    • Process terminations in HR systems (Workday) and conduct exit interviews with departing employees.
    • Ensure compliance with departmental practices and relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

    Qualifications/Background Profile:
    • 2+ years of experience in customer service supporting human resources in HR administration, transactional and data management, and reporting activities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including the ability to create business spreadsheets, organize large datasets, perform complex computations, and utilize advanced functions such as pivot tables, Vlookups, and formulas.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with COE partners and business sectors to enhance service delivery.
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
