- Develop, maintain, and administer databases and/or data management systems that allow for the secure storage, query, and utilization of data
- Conduct data integration, data modeling, analytics modeling, and data mining
- Ensure reports and statistical data developed achieve client organizational and/or business goals
- Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to frontend users
- Perform data mining, analysis, and reporting to support client organizations and initiatives
- Develop conceptual design for planned statistical database; consider backend organization of data and frontend accessibility for customers; refine logical design to translate into a specific data model; and maintain data standards
- Develop database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definition
- Conduct file share and disk space management
- Monitor and manage disk allocation and network resources
- Perform network scans, permission assignment, and active directory updates
- Perform permissions modifications on files, folders, shares, and create new shared items
- Provide design and technical support, assistance, and training for data management, analysis, interoperability, database/dashboard design and development, data standardization and maintenance
- Develop, maintain, and update Access Databases and/or tools on SharePoint 2013 or higher for IT asset management to capture, query, and report inventory status
- Manage command At-Hoc system for personnel recall and command notifications
- Six (6) years of related IT data management experience
- Minimum of three (3) years job-related experience in managing large datasets and translating data into meaningful reports for users and management
- Minimum of two (2) years job-related experience working with Active Directory and managing permissions of network shares and resources
- CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification (or higher level certification) or Bachelor's Degree (or higher level degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity required
- Experience with Access 2016, SharePoint, and Flank Speed
- Experience supporting a Naval logistics command or repair activity preferred
- Ability to communicate across team both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Action oriented, with the ability to identify, articulate, and address opportunities for improvement
