Director Of Events And Sales Qualifications
5+ years of senior leadership experience in large scale, high profile events
Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse portfolio of events, including corporate functions, product launches, activations, and celebrity events
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Director Of Events And Sales Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.
Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team of event managers, coordinators, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Event Management:
Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of all on and off-premise events, ensuring flawless coordination of logistics, staffing, and resources.
Client Relations:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver customized solutions and exceed expectations.
Vendor Management:
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in all event-related services and supplies.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
