- Identify signs of illness and reactions to treatments
- Administer medications and therapeutic agents
- Assess symptoms to distinguish normal from abnormal
- Develop and execute care plans based on observations
- Document relevant reporting and referrals according to standards
- Respond swiftly to emergencies
- Evaluate patients' ability to follow instructions and provide consent
- Ensure patient safety, intervene as needed, and assess the effectiveness of interventions
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (mandatory)
- BSN degree is a plus
- Active California RN License
- ACLS or PALS certification
- Specialty Certification or commitment to obtain one within a year
- Minimum 3 years of Acute Care Nursing experience
- 2 years of Imaging Nursing experience preferred
- Proficient in reading EKGs, expert in IV insertion, and monitoring sedated patients of all ages
- Skilled in educating patients about upcoming procedures
- Experience in code response is highly valued
- Desirable: Previous exposure to implantable cardiac devices, including performing interrogation and reprogramming for MRI patients
