    Job Opening: Registered Nurse III at Heart Institute Ambulatory Center

    We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the renowned Smidt Heart Institute in Southern California. The Smidt Heart Institute is a leading facility in cardiovascular care, dedicated to providing top-notch services to patients of all ages.

    Join our team of experts and be part of a dynamic environment where quality care and patient satisfaction are top priorities. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, and educating patients on disease management.

    The Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is known for its comprehensive approach to heart and vascular conditions, offering cutting-edge treatments and compassionate care.

    Summary of Essential Duties:

    • Perform direct patient care activities tailored to the unit's needs
    • Conduct patient assessments, provide clinical education, and manage anticoagulation
    • Coordinate patient care and oversee the cardiac clinic operations
    • Handle prior authorizations and triage phone calls
    • Ensure patient safety across all age groups
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

    License/Certification:

    • Current California RN license and ACLS certification required
    • Specialty certification preferred

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
    • Demonstrated proficiency in a specialty area (e.g., cardiology)
    • Strong IV skills
