- 3+ years of moving experience as a crew lead/driver and/or in sales.
- Willingness and strong desire to improve skills in closing jobs and performing sales tasks.
- Comfortable with a hybrid role involving both on-the-truck and office tasks.
- Sales experience in the moving industry or related field.
- Social confidence to connect with realtors, leasing agents, and other professionals.
- Conduct in-home estimates and respond quickly to customer requests.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for moving services, explaining all options and coverage to customers.
- Maintain communication with customers from first contact through signing.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of customer interactions and follow-ups.
- Build community relations and engage new markets.
- Conduct initial visits to potential referral sources, including realtors, property management companies, and senior service facilities.
- Attend industry and networking events to generate leads.
- Maintain current records of all referral source contacts.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000 - $65,000.
- Hourly rate of $20, with a 4% commission for booked jobs.
- 2 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO).
- Direct Healthcare (Not a full plan).
- Mileage Reimbursement and/or Gas Card.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Two Saturdays a month.
- A few evenings to attend sponsored events.
