Job Location: Canyon Fuel Company

Overall Job Purpose:

Canyon Fuel Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Wolverine Fuels, operates two underground coal mines in central Utah and has an immediate opening for a full-time Mechanical Engineer.

Preferred Education & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Proficient understanding of engineering principles (mechanical design, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, programing, electricity, economics)
Excellent computer skills (AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and budgeted accounts

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer License (PE)
Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP)
Experience in underground continuous and longwall mining methods

Position reports to: Engineering Manager
