The County of Lake Elsinore, CA, Department of Social Services (local job center) is seeking a


Job Placement Specialist/Personal Contact (m/f/d) at the job center.


Your work will be based at the Teltow location within the Department of Social Services, Integration and Counseling/Employer Services, with a weekly workload of 39 hours.

The position is permanent and classified as pay grade 9b according to the TVöD (VKA).

Your responsibilities

  • Advising and supporting beneficiaries with complex profiles according to the Social Code Book II (SGB II)
  • Developing action plans and integration strategies
  • Creating and regularly adjusting individual integration agreements
  • Managing labor market measures
  • Active networking
What we expect

  • A completed degree in Public Administration (e.g. Bachelor of Laws, Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/in) or a degree as a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Market Management, Verwaltungsfachwirt/in, or Sozialversicherungsfachwirt/in
  • Alternatively, applicants with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Indepth knowledge of the Social Code Books II and III
  • Basic knowledge of SGB IV, V, VI, VIII, IX, XI, XII
  • Flexibility and independent work style
  • Confident demeanor, strong persuasion and communication skills, and good teamwork abilities
  • Desirable experience with the software OpenProsoz or willingness to quickly familiar
