    Shaner Hotels has an amazing opportunity at our Courtyard Jacksonville I-295 / East Beltway. Located only minutes away from beaches, area corporations, cruise lines, and area attractions, Courtyard Jacksonville Northeast/Kendall Town is ideal for corporate travel, relocation, and fun getaways. Enjoy our on-site Bistro serving breakfast and dinner and Starbucks coffee all day. The Courtyard Jacksonville I-295/East Beltway is completely smoke-free, and offers great amenities such as free high-speed Internet, a boarding pass station, a fitness center, and an outdoor heated pool.     JOB DESCRIPTION
    • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
    • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
    • Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
    • Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
    • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
    • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Responsibilities

    Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.

    Qualifications
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
    • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
    • Computer experience preferred.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
    • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
