    Description


    Bear Canyon Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Licensed Social Worker for our Social Services Director full time, Monday through Friday, days Benefits $56,160 - $66,560 per year Tuition, Travel, and Wireless Service Discounts Employee Assistance Program to support mental health Employee Foundation to financially assist through unforeseen hardships Inclusive workplace with DEI committee.

    Variable compensation plans Nursing Student Loan Debt Repayment and Tuition Assistance Health, Dental, Vision, Company-paid life insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.

    The Social Services Director oversees the operation of the nursing center Social Services Department according to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations, Genesis policies and procedures, and standards of care for specialty practice.

    Position Highlights Directly supervise two or more members of the Social Services staff.

    Foster a climate, policies, and routines that enable patients/residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity and the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life.

    Educate staff regarding the role of Social Services and the psychosocial needs of patients/residents and their families/significant others including the problems of aging and disability.

    Identify and monitor community changes and opportunities such as legislation, regulations, and programs that impact nursing home patients/residents.
