    Description
    Impact Recruitmentis currently searching for Water/Wastewater Pipeline and Pump Station Project Manager for a renowned multi-disciplined company in their Dallas office.

    This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to actively participate in developing and growing our clients water/wastewater practice. The candidate in this role will provide technical expertise and leadership to our team of highly skilled engineers while leading tasks and projects simultaneously while applying technical knowledge and expertise to develop the team's overall capabilities.

    Responsibilities
    • Serving as primary client contact, advising and informing them regarding project status and schedule
    • Leverage work experience and client relationships to win new projects, in collaboration with Principal-level staff.
    • Communicating with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, partner firms, whose work or services are related to the project and communicating relevant information to the community, or technical groups with interests related to the project
    • Performing and directing complex studies and investigations and preparing reports of findings
    • Coordinating phases of the work to ensure completion within the established time and budgetary constraints
    • Advising Construction Manager of questions or problems which arise during construction
    • Directing assignments, scheduling work and providing technical oversight for project staff including engineers, technicians, designers, drafters and field representatives
    • Reviewing progress to provide continuity, conformity, and quality
    • Maintaining and expanding technical capabilities to ensure that projects utilize state-of-the-art technology
    • Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior-level engineering and design / drafting staff.
    • Coordinate and manage execution of projects with other disciplines and office personnel.
    • Develop planning and design projects from inception to completion.
    • Prepare construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of water / wastewater / storm water systems for clients.
    • Create cost estimates and project schedules; complete design tasks within budget and on schedule.
    • Oversee detailed engineering calculations, analysis, and design software to solve complex challenges.
    • Prepare and present reports to clients for weekly and monthly progress meetings.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
    • Professional engineer (PE) license in Texas
    • 7+ years of experience in design and planning of water / wastewater / recycled water conveyance facilities.
    • Project experience including design and construction of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems and pump / lift stations.
    • Project leadership Task Manager, Design Lead or Technical Lead experience on projects of various sizes.
    • Excellent technical engineering skills in the water / wastewater practice area.
    • Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
    • Client relationship skills; including preparation and development of proposals and managing client expectations, developing, and leading presentations, with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects to the satisfaction of the client.
    • Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent technical writing skills. Functional experience with MS Office applications.
    • Construction administration experience.
