- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling based on client needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align client engagement efforts with organizational objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their evolving needs.
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and feedback sessions to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure prompt and effective response to client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to minimize client churn and maximize lifetime value.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for organic growth within existing client accounts.
- Analyze client data and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for service enhancement.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a junior client relations professional to deliver exceptional service., including the following:
- Provide guidance on complex client issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices within the team.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as sales, marketing and research to address client needs and concerns.
- Advocate for client priorities and requirements within the organization, influencing decision-making to prioritize client success.
- Experience in a leadership role in client relations, account management, or a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving client satisfaction and retention.
- Planning and delivering medium and long-term Client retention plans
- Cross-selling and up-selling additional Client products and services
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Delivering Customer Success by educating Clients in products and services
- Knowledge of CRM systems, client engagement tools, and data analytics platforms preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstration of a professional attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in either an asset management company or a company servicing the asset management industry such as broking, research or consultancy.
- Technical knowledge related to funds, asset classes and fund strategies whether in hedge funds, mutual funds, private markets or other strategies.
- An industry qualification such as CFA, CAIA or IMC.
