    A law firm in Chicago, IL, seeks an experienced Lateral Intellectual Property Attorney with a portable book of business exceeding $500,000. The firm is open to considering attorneys from smaller, profitable firms who may be interested in merging.     Duties:

    • Manage and grow a robust intellectual property practice.
    • Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright issues.
    • Draft and negotiate intellectual property agreements and licenses.
    • Conduct due diligence in intellectual property transactions.
    • Handle intellectual property litigation when necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Illinois Bar.
    • 2+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Attorney.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and expanding a book of business.

    Education:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

    Certifications:

    • Admission to the Illinois Bar.
