- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in test engineering, validation, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Industrial/HVAC and AC Auto equipment experience preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical testing, hardware testing, software testing, and embedded systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (UL, CE, etc.)
- Project Management skills
- Certification in testing or quality assurance is a plus.
- Design and implement testing strategies to validate product functionality and performance.
- Execute tests, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and drive bug resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish test metrics and KPIs to evaluate product quality.
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and validation strategies.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and other relevant records.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality
- Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect.
- Manage projects through completion to include validation of purchased complete products and components.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
