Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and quality-driven automotive technician to fill an open position in our car dealership's service department. Our ideal candidate will be confident running diagnostics equipment to identify and complete automotive repairs to electrical and software systems. $35 - $50 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics
• Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs
• Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems
• Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle's integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools
• When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers which will include owners of BMW Mercedes Porsche Bentley and/or Audi vehicles

Qualifications:

• Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal
• GED or high school diploma is mandatory
• Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
• ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
• Experience repairing BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Bentley, and/or Audi vehicles
