    Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highlymotivated and experiencedSenior Backend Engineer to join our team to support our government clients.

    The successful applicant will work directly with clients, from the concept and proposal phase, to planning and build, and ultimately to the delivery.

    As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a meaningful role in each phase of your projects.

    While your focus will be on scalable backend systems building, you'll also work with engineers to ingest and visualize real world data.

    Job Responsibilities

    As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:
    Work with a variety of Public and Government Cloud Providers. Actively maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
    Investigate, architect, plan and provision medium and large cloud based systems individually or with teammates. Develop cloud-based data processing pipelines and workflows.
    Collaborate with Technical Leads, Project Managers, and Clients to plan roadmaps, estimate tasks and drive teams time effectively
    Coordinate closely with developers, designers, artists, producers, program managers and QA

    Required Qualifications:
    U.S. Citizenship is required.
    Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
    Professional experience in configuration, deployment, and management of Docker containers, Kubernetes clusters, and Argo workflows
    Knowledge in designing, building, and maintaining secure, performant APIs that communicate between frontend and backend. Familiarity with REST API's and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
    Knowledge of encryption, secure communication protocols, and handling and storing sensitive data
    Strong interpersonal skills, both in person and via digital means with the ability to work in a team environment


    Desired Qualifications:
    Understanding of compliance as it relates to software infrastructure
    Exposure to scalable solutions and the prospect of large data sets
    Having experience to go 'Full Stack' to develop or trace code between application and server
