- Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders.
- Work with students individually or in small groups to improve their speech and language skills.
- Implement therapy plans and interventions as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document students' progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' therapy goals and progress.
- Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working with moderate to severe students is highly desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
