Join Benchmark Human Services as an Assistant Director in the Birth to Three program Benchmark is involved in all aspects of care for the youngest among us—from overseeing regional programs to providing hands-on services through federal and state programs.
Children's Services help babies and toddlers with disabilities or delays learn new skills that typically develop during the first three years of life including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills.
Support program development through staff training, assessment of family needs, and serve as an active participant in the early intervention community.
The Assistant Director will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and oversee the program in the Director's absence.

~ Comply with all Federal and State regulations, including those outlined in the Connecticut Birth to Three Policies and Procedures.
Assist with oversight of the program, including recruitment, public awareness and all administrative functions associated with operating the Program Assist with hiring of early intervention staff.
Ensure that all service providers receive the training, support, and work time necessary to fulfill the requirements of their positions.
Assist with training and mentoring staff and develop and implement work improvement plans.Receive referrals and assign staff, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate staff meetings.
Assist with program policy and procedure development and quality review audits.
Assist with performance reviews for early intervention staff.
Monitor service authorizations, billing and assist corporate with billing process.
Review IFSP and related documents to ensure compliance.
Actively participate in early intervention related committees/workgroups.
Facilitate staff growth and development to ensure best practice.
Act as public relations person on behalf of Benchmark in the community.
Five years' experience in early intervention is desired.
Knowledgeable about best practices in early interventions
