Description

The Early Intervention Placement Coordinator will be directly responsible for the growth of the Early Intervention Program by staffing services referrals with appropriate clinicians.

The EI Placement Coordinator will communicate with families, providers, and service coordinators on a regular basis to assist as many children and families in need of services as possible.


Primary goals for this role are:

  • To establish and maintain relationships with EIODs and SCs in the Early Intervention program to increase the number of referrals received by NYTPS.
  • To assign and match EI providers to cases based on their availability and location.
  • To assist in creating a strong Early Intervention program that promotes the best possible outcome for the children and families that NYTPS serves.

Duties:


  • Intake referrals from NYTPS evaluations as well as external sources to staff services.
  • Contact providers about available cases and assign them based on location as well as availability.
  • Enter referral information into database.
  • Assist in onboarding new providers by ensuring all have tools and resources needed to effectively provide services.
  • Monitor new recruits and past providers to ensure they maintain active caseloads.
  • Address any issues with parents, EIODs, service coordinators, or providers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Outreach to EIODs and outside service coordinators to establish and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Adhere to Bureau of Intervention guidelines.

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrate strong administrative experience and general computer literacy including proficiency in data entry, MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A cheerful, personable demeanor with proven customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with service providers, families, and county representatives.
  • A detailoriented person with the ability to multitask and the flexibility to fill in with other clerical duties as needed.
  • Early Intervention or recruiting/staffing experience a plus.

$53, $57,000.00 per year
