The Medical Service (MD) Hessen is the cross-sectoral, independent and impartial social medical expert institution for the concerns of the solidarity community of statutory health insurance and social long-term care insurance.

The MD takes on important tasks in determining the need for care and in quality assurance in the healthcare sector.

In our four business areas - hospitals, incapacity/rehabilitation, outpatient care, and long-term care - we process over 500,000 orders from health and long-term care insurance annually.

What to expect:


  • The 3year dual training program includes both practical and theoretical components. During your onthejob training, you will become familiar with the entire spectrum of administrative tasks in our four medical business areas and gain insights into administrative work. Our competent training supervisors will support you in all areas and you will have the opportunity to network with former apprentices of our company.

Who we are looking for:


  • You have a good secondary school leaving certificate or (technical) college entrance qualification and are interested in commercial contexts related to the healthcare sector. You also have good PC skills, especially in MS Office applications, and are flexible, able to work in a team, and committed. A communicative, open, and enthusiastic personality completes your profile.
