    Description

    Seeking a Field Service Engineer based in California to cover the western USA. We are currently looking for someone that has 2+ years of FSE experience who can troubleshoot, repair, and support our client's line of products. These include Automated Laboratory Reactors, Chromatography, Mass Spec, Calorimeters, and Laboratory Automation Software.

    Requirements:

    • B.S. in Chemistry, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineer
    • 2 years of related instrument servicing experience of Chromatography, Mass Spec, Automated Lab Reactors, Bioreactor Systems, or Calorimetry Instrumentation
    • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical diagram form and deal with abstract variables
    • Experience calling on R&D laboratories within the Biotech, Pharma, and Food and Beverage industries
    • Troubleshooting experience, ability to work at the component level, and read a schematic
    • Proven track record of working independently
    • 60% overnight travel
    • Local to a major airport in either Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco

    Estimated Total Compensation based on experience: $130,000 - $150,000 plus excellent benefits
