Andrew Alamillo

My name is Andrew Alamillo. I am a upcoming 4th year at University of California Merced. I am studying to become a water/wastewater engineer. Environmental Science has been a passion of mine since high school and have wanted to work in the field of environmental science ever since.

I have worked in Metro Department of Transportation in Downtown Los Angeles as an intern during the summer of '19. In this job I worked in organizing and filing data for safety equipment on the red line on excel as well as looked at blueprints for all the red line stations.

I have worked at the Audubon center at debs park as an intern mainly helping organize the park facilities and volunteers. I also did some on-site surveys about plant and animal life found in at the park.

Worked at my High School's main office where I updated their website interface as well as organized their documents.  

In the past year, I have finished my 3rd academic year of University at University of California Merced. Now entering my 4th. In this year I have studied water chemistry, fluid mechanics, sustainable energy, and water/wastewater treatment.
